Hi Erik, your answer was very valuable to me.

I am quite clear now as to what to choose, and the restrictions I can face.

I have understood the usages of breadboards & PCB. I think these would be my final questions.

Can Silabs be programmed on breadboards? I have seen examples of Atmel being programmed on breadboard, but not clear about Silabs. I think breadboard is good to start with, or please let me know if there are other ways.
