If you are not playing games or doing heavy spreadsheets, what do you need a "much better computer" for?.


My guess would be: watching streaming video, using Hulu or Netflix or the like. I had to deprecate a perfectly-fine PowerPC Mac mini because it couldn't keep up with HD content.
