Here in the colonies, one can certainly get either the dongle standalone for $35 or with a dev kit which can cost anywhere from $50 to a couple hundred.

do not forget (if you are an amateur) that with a devboard/devkit you get the 4k "unlock" for Keil. If you just download Keil the limit is 2k. Of course pros that buy Keil do not have this concern. In addition SILabs provides many (I believe, but, I have seen one mentioned) things that will run "outside the limit"

also $15 ($50 - $35)is pretty cheap for a devboard.
