... and that's where many examples fall down. They may, in fact, work fine, but their not written so as to be understandable, they're often not properly commented, and they're very seldom adequately documented.

Examples seem to fall into two sorts ... (a) "See? ... Our product can do this ..." and (b) "Here's how this can be done ..." Which sort do you see most often?
