#174688 - SILabs Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The good news is that Silicon Labs' documentation is better than most so as long as one takes the time to actually read it then the differences are not difficult to deal with.
Who "takes the time to actually read" that clock input is moved to XTAL2 when doing his/her 247th '51 design, expecially since that information is not on a page headlined "deviations" but hidden in a 400 page document. Also what purpose does it serve to rename RCAP2. When working with the SILabs deviates, experience is not an advantage, but a hindrance Now that SFR page register in the F120 is annoying me, but such is life. With a well designed SFR/bit definition file that includes the page in the definitions it is no problem. Using the 'standard' abbreviated bit and SFR definitions is really error prone. Erik |
