Filenames (including folder names) with spaces in are very likely to break development tools.

Most (?) development stuff still relies upon command-line tools to do the actual work "behind the scenes" - and they cope poorly with spaces in names.

Therefore, as a matter of policy, I never install any development tools into any path with any spaces in it anywhere.
Period.

Similarly, as a matter of policy, I never have source code in any path with any spaces in it anywhere.
Period.
