Indeed. But this particular clock does specify a radio time reference - hence I was including that in the challenge.

unless the clock runs without batteries, it won't drift much while the mains power is unavailable.

The benefit of a radio reference is that it enables you to do automatic "daylight saving", leap seconds, etc...
