OK ... tell me how you'd get something milled or engraved on a student's budget? Of course, student budgets may be considerably larger in the U.K. and Europe than here in the U.S.

I remember that when my two sons were in college, I had to pay out about $67K per semester for tuition, books/fees, room-and-board, health care, etc, yet my sons were constantly under financial stress.

I guess things are different where you are. When I want something etched, engraved, milled, or otherwise manufactured, I have to pay the requisite $100 per hour for shop time, plus any setup and material charges. It must be a lot less costly where you are.
