150 Euro? Come on, think only about what all the LEDs will cost. Think about how much electronics might sit inside to make this clock weight 4kg.

Also, this clock seems to be manufactured very accurately. It's not so simple to make the characters shine evenly bright, I can tell you. A good diffusing panel is needed, ultra bright LEDs with selected intensity and matched constant current sources of high efficiency to make all this with 2W. I think, they use a non-multiplexing scheme to guarantee a non-flickering, quiet appearance. All this costs. Make no mistake, manufacturing costs aren't low, at all.
