Depends. A lot of the underlying technology is unchanged. If you were fluent in 8051 assembler in 1981 it is still very relevant 25 years later. Relays, solenoids and motors all are driven now the same way they were 40 years ago and the problems are the same. Signal conditioning is largely unchanged. There are may other examples. Ian |
