Sometimes reading a 500+ page datasheet is overwhelming. Sure it is - but that is in the nature of this job! If you're not up to it, then you've probably chosen the wrong career! If you want to be a musician, you have to practice for hours each day - if that seems "overwhelming", then you're not cut-out to be a musician! Wouldn't it be cruel to mislead a fresh student into thinking that this job is easy, and they won't have to face reading 500+ page datasheets...? IMO, sometimes people just need that little nudge of.......hey check here But that requires that you have, at least, found the datasheet and looked at it enough to be overwhelmed! That is different from the people who get "didn't search first" - because they have clearly not even bothered to do any thinking or research. Again, do you honestly beleive that these people have actually done any work at all before asking for ready-made solutions to their assignments: http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread15597.asp http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread15592.asp http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread15583.asp If you really have obtained the datasheet, but can't understand it, then a post saying "I got this datasheet but can't understand X Y Z" will get the kind of "nudge" or "hint" that you say. It's the guys (and gals) that have clearly done nothing that get the "didn't search first". Yet the high and mighties can't seem to grasp the concept that a few bad apples ruin it for people who really need/appreciate it. That "bad apples" are precisely the ones who don't make any effort! |
