Craig talks about "user friendliness" (friendly to non-technical users) and Jeff talks about "quality and stability" I do not know much about Linux, (have not tried it, simply because my apps are not available for it) but have heard that if you expose e.g. an accountant or some other non-computersavy person to Linux, you need cotton in your ears. The above may, indeed, be the reason that the only place where Linux has had any penetration is servers (which are handled by (somewhat) computer savy people) Being, at least, somewhat computer savy, I do a lot in DOS (definitely not "user friendly), I do not need "user friendliness" but many others do.
