Duh!, I keep having to re-iterate, bascom is a compiler, compiler, compiler, do you get it yet?, its not a basic interpreter which incidently belongs in the last century with your failed dragon 32 platform.I had a commodore 64 which was successful just for a few years at least. I know it is a compiler. I was simply pointing out that I was intimately familiar with Basic (and its internals) before evaluating BASCOM and hence your comments about how you think I felt about BASCOM because it had an unfamiliar syntax are therefore completely wrong. Do you get it yet? The Dragon was not a failure. It brought over £50 million of revenue into Wales and employed a large number of people, including electronics engineers. It was largely responsible for the resurgence on contract manufacturing in Wales at a time when British Steel in Port Talbot was managing to lose £1 million a day. On an administrative note, do try to quote properly, I know it's an unfamiliar syntax for you but its only html (from the last century) so I am sure a bright lad like you will pick it up in a couple of years.
