#125434 - Basic is Dead
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Darren Heywood said:
Hi all, I've just joined.I see so many poor souls trying to multiply numbers, and other complex mathematical functions in assembler. Take a tip from me, memory is almost infinity even when using a compiler. I personnaly use Bascom 8051

You would be far better using a language designed for control applications rather than one designed to teach idiots the basics of programming. Personally I use Forth. Highly optimised for the 8051 and does complex math with ease.
