I am not sure that "square roots and Taylor's power series expansions" are needed for PID. As I recall, Addition and Multiplication mostly, and a divide or two. Hi Neil, Who said anything about using floating point for for PID??, I'm going to either words or integers i.e., for increased speed.If I can squeeze 32 PID loops out one chip all the better. Darren |
