That impressive, the codec will prep the signal for the DSP I suppose,that will do the filtering, and pipe it back to the codec for retransmission. FABRICATING this if going to be great fun. The thing is likely to be a naked die, bonded to the board. The more I think about it, the less expensive these things seem. Sorry Ralph ! Incidentally, Philips still make the oldest chip in the world in continuous production for use in hearing aids - almost 40 years AFAIK. Steve |
