thanks for calculations, you are very right.
I am using 12Vdc unreg, and getting 5 and 9 Vdc reg.

Final wattage is less than 19W. Also its not always that all relays are ON, so average reduces !!

But its optimization, that I plan to achieve. For digital components, I am doing the power down or IC- 'disable' as the case may be. But forgive my exprience, which is not much in relays and triacs. Actually I am a software engg by job profile using C# in day, and seek my 8051 hobby in night. But this is more than a hobby project.
