Are latching relay cost effective I think they are significantly more expensive - I have no idea what might be "cost effective" for your particular application! and easily available ? That depends on what you mean by "easily", doesn't it! Are they a drop in replacement, or I need to modify my design (s/w and h/w) ? Yes, you will need to redesign: they usually need a pulse to turn on, and another pulse to turn off. |
