I wanted to confirm which pin is the correct one so tesed using a simple circuit as shown in this picture .

I connected so because the datasheet says pin 2 is positive of the internal diode.

As soon as i switched on the power the led did glow for few seconds and then went off.

IT seems the relay is blown off..(led is till working)But was it due to wrong connection of pin 2 and 3 or due to high current flowing across 1 and 4.
