1.I need to add JTAG interface to program my first cpld board using a parallel cable. I found many circuits on the internet, some are very simple while others are very complicated. The idea is since the cpld is 5V tolerant. Why cant I just connect the pins directly to the parrallel port pins? do I need pullup/ pulldown resistors on the JTAG pins?
2. I need a 3.3 voltage regulator for my board. Is there a 78xx series regulator for 3.3v?
