It seems that Ive opens a Huge can of worms with this one,but ive just installed Redhat linux the older of my two systems and migrating the applications seems to be fairly painless and as for what happens when you really cannot run stuff on anything but windows well thats where a dual boot system comes into its own.One thing I have noticed is I dont get stupid 'Clock skew detected' when using 'make' under linux because the file system has a better time granularity than DOS which has something like two seconds for the files system timestamp so make sometimes saw files coming from the future which was always fun.
