#108226 - really?
Responding to: ???'s previous message

If you want to run "unknown" stuff at home, you may be right about Linux, but that is an absolute no-no in a professional environment.

That's certainly too bad. In the past 20+ years, I've run a professional environment under every one of the OS's I mentioned above -- except TRS-DOS -- and have never had what I delivered rejected because of it.

At least in my case, it's never been about the tool, it's only been about the deliverable. Granted, I've never delivered an embedded product, but those first years of Z80/8080 work (CPM and the like) were darn close ;)
-- OK, not really, but it sure seems like it now.
