Again, I have nothing against Linux, OS2 or JoeBlowOperatingSystem.
I just realize that a de facto standard, however miserable, does exist and living with it makes many things easier. E.g. to run Keil under Linus, you need to employ "whine" and who knows how well wine will accept the next Keil update.
