#108201 - Old Clunkers
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Erik,

"Old clunkers" means something new every day. I still remember running an 8 MHz system that I had to jump through hoops on to use that extra 300-odd k of RAM. I had to put in a special math co-processor just to run AutoCAD and I had to wait 45 minutes for it to render a "HIDE" command.

My old Win98 machines won't keep up with the new stuff out there today, but my memory is going to have to get a lot shorter before I'll start thinking of them as "old clunkers";-)

And yes, I heartilly agree. Even if I do have to start running XP for some new software package, that doesn't mean the I'll replace all the other stuff that still does what I need.
