Yes, sampling theory needs much more samples to restaurate a signal, means to make it appear in the proper shape on screen. But Fourier theory needs only two samples to restore the signal. Of course, two very special samples, namely at 90° and 270°. Then the amplitude can be determined and an eventual DC-offset. Kai |
