if "that post is immediately above the reply," has been read on a previous occasion, your laziness forces the reader to go back to see the "that post is immediately above the reply," to see the question. Of course, if the site had been the fastest site of all, it would be less of a problem.

also, if "that post is immediately above the reply," is a mile long and poses several questions and you choose to reply to one of them, it can be a pain in ... to figuire out where the actual question that you respond to is
