If you use a TQFP to DIL adapter, with all the pins accounted for, you can still program the part as though it were the DIL part. In the case of the most generic adapters, you have to work out the pinout yourself, which is what I've done, since my app's are often wire-wrapped, but there are in many cases, adapter boards that convert the pinout from one package to another.
Ho impact is felt by the programming circuit, aside from increased lead length. RE |
