My point, now, is that with the appropriate adapter, one doesn't care whether it's ISP or parallel-programmable, because the adapter simply changes the package outline. It's not a programming adapter. It's just a package/pinout tweaker.

After all, ISP or not, if the package is wrong, the part won't fit. If the adapter is just to change the pinout or package, the programming/debugging method will work, regardless, so long as resulting track lengths aren't excessive. RE |
