Z8051 - a new family of 8051-based microcontrollers by Zilog. Wow.

2-clocker, appears to have the "classical" cycle structure (thus similar to the NXP P89LPC9xx and the Infineon XC8xx families). FLASH ranging from 4 to 64kB, and an assortment of goodies in each model. 4 UARTs in the highest model... Mouser lists them as "On Order", whatever that means; priced from E1.06 to E3.18 (I was searching for prefix "Z51F").

Sounds interesting.
