For some reason, the EETimes link seems findable in Google, but fails to load.

and for comparison, another vendor has a new M4 core...

It will come down to price,

Silabs parts look light on timers, and no Quadrature counter support, and no QuadSPI support...
Regulator and wide Vcc is good, as is a few high drive pins.
