I've never applied this judgment to any other manufacturer. It was that way with the first couple of ATMEL products that I tried out, however, and it's totally unlike my experience with other manufacturers.

They strung us along for over a year, though they knew from day 1, or, at least, should have, had they powered-on their product. Either they didn't check for functionality, or lied about it.

That, alone, tells me what I need to know.
