There are cells whose datasheets state that they are compensated for a certain range of temperatures (0 ~ 60 C)



Good datasheet of good loadcell contains number to calculate temperature caused difference in output signal. Some time this number is unreal low.




The load cells and summing modules were mounted in an open area, and absurdely enough, more than half the day, the sun shined directly on the amplifier & cells.


Direct sunlight causes temerature to rise easyly above 70 deg C.
Some kind of sun protection is needed( and is cheap).
