The only thing this has in its favor is that one board supports several different size QFPs.

I don't see any reasonable way to install decoupling caps.

And the recommendation to use MASKING tape to hold the chip in place while you solder it down is just idiotic. Zap!

Soldering a QFP on a standard PCB is very easy. I don't see the point of these things.
