#170051 - No in-house staff of druggies here Responding to: ???'s previous message |
When something's manufactured here, it's normally I who does the wiring. I've had colleagues run the test cycles, manufacture the sheet metal, prepare board layouts, etc, but the wire-wrapping is something I like to do myself. That's probably because nobody else seems to like it. The layouts are prepared here, but the boards are most often made in Asia, where quality is improving and never was as unreliable as it is in the U.S. When I'm in a rush, I transmit Gerbers, etc, and have boards on my desk in no more than 5 days. Moreover, they cost a small fraction of what the U.S. board houses I've tried over the past decade will charge, and they haven't yet messed up one of my boards ... or one of my schedules.
BTW, I have no sympathy or tolerance for drug abusers. You probably won't agree with my attitude toward participants in the drug trade, whether retail or wholesale. RE |
