I am amazed at the arrogance of this forum. Of course no-one should disclose commercially sensitive information. I would suggest a polite refusal would be more appropriate than dropping hints.

Likewise a deliberate obfuscation from Mr Erlacher may impress the reader with his knowledge of 8048 code.

I would have thought that it is simpler to just not reply if you do not want to help the OP.

It may have been a long while ago, but we were all young once. The internet may not have existed but if you asked an intelligent question, our elders and betters would have given a helpful reply.
