I object to giving people completed code because most of the time the requests come from people who have been given homework and simply don't feel like doing it. I am quite happy to point people in the right direction but half the time you do that and they are still not happy.
Its quite obvious that there is a growing trend amongst new students of embedded systems of not thinking for themselves and simply giving out code when requested isn't helping anyone.They get the code, don't understand how it works and think that they can do the same thing next time. As far as eric goes he is and always has been very opinionated and I am sure thats coomes from the fact that he is experienced and most of the time, but not always he knows what he is doing. He has some issues with Atmel devices but then again I have issues with people insisting on developing code entirely in assembler. |
