I re-did the spreadsheet to do away with the counting sequence with the 125 combinations that Chico was promoting and instead adapted the sequence that follows from the diagram that Andy linked. In this mode the number of discrete color steps is 25 colors when you take the end points to be the same and support only five steps (0 to 4) for each of the color steps.
