Indeed - you can easily get Excel to show that by creating a chart of the numbers!

Look at the diagram that I cited earlier:



There are no jumps - only 1 colour is varying at any time - and it gives a smooth fade through the colours of the rainbow.

That seems to be what is required - ie, that's what the cited video appeared to be doing...
