Where I work, there is no standard desk phones. A couple of conference phones and a fax. The rest is mobile phones mapped to standard PSTN-type phone numbers and with PSTN minute costs for customers who calls. With a laptop and a mobile phone, a customer that calls someone who is traveling can get almost the same service as if the person was at his/her desk.
