Not every culture works this way, but, for example, the Germans are often accused of "studying-to-death" every project, then executing in very short time and having it right the first time. OTOH, other cultures study it very little, understanding it only after the fifth unsuccessful attempt. Others, still, are inclined to take what they consider the shortest path to success, then economize later. I'm not sure which approach is fastest and which is least costly, but I am biased in favor of the German approach.
It IS possible to follow any one of these, and perhaps other, paths, and succeed or fail. How many more times you get to attempt this depends on your end result. RE |
