Why didn't tried the www.8051projects.net/downloads16.html That's cheap..from Rickeyworld. True to its "cost", it was as expected. I downloaded the updated ZIP file and when I tried to configure the settings it asked for a password. And it talked about a non existent Help file.No I was looking for a ready to use kit. SO, I decided to do it on my own. I already got the Lantronix Matchport b/g kit and using a user interface coded in LabVIEW, I can now switch on/off any of the 8 LEDs on board the kit through the internet ( tried both TCP and UDP successfully ). As of now I am using fixed IP assigned by my ISP ( for that session) for the MatchPort and its only a few more iterations when I will use the DynDNS to remove that hiccup also. Will come back when complete and add the whole project to the user pages. Thanks for all your support which helped me learn a lot in the process. Raghu |
