I just found the service that updates the IP for DynDNS. This essentially means that the existing equipment will have to be modified to announce to DynDNS. Are there any standards for the same? Do other service providers use the same protocol/format? If not, the equipment will be locked on to this particular service provider right? If yes, please share the protocol.
