You could look at X10 controllers with TCP/IP interface. However, it will mean you need to keep your ADSL router on and connected to this device. Another possibility is a telephone attachment for which you may see some student projects on the net. This device would decode DTMF tones to turn on/off relays associated with some buttons. This would, I believe, work with a wired line. Just some ideas I could think of.. I don't even know if they'll lead anywhere. Goodluck |
