Turn-on performance isn't specified for many of these shutdown regulators. This is valid for the LM2936, LT1129, LTC1121 and MIC5207.
The LP2951 shows overshot and ringing and the LP2985 doesn't provide a true ramp for certain bypass caps. Not very promising. The LP2981 looks good, but the performance isn't specified properly either. The turn-on performance heavily depends on the actual capacitive load and load current. Curves, if published at all, do not show how the shape of turn-on curve depends on these parameters. Kai |
