Yesterday I saw a circuit which used an extra cap on the switch side of the series resistor. (from the pull-up to GND)

Will this improve the immunity of the input? Both caps were 10n

I do not think so, but it will wear the switch. Every time the switch closes it will discharge the cap and, a high quality cap (which would be the only one suppressing GHz) would provide AMPS for a few pico/nano seconds.
