From what I understand from the several posts regarding the HEF4021 it's a miracle that I can get it to work at all......

The remarks about schmitt triggers, properly choosen cap/resistor combinations make me a little worried.

I have used this chip several times with a simple 10K pullup/100n cap to GND configuration and never had any problem.....
I use the chip to read switches at low speed and ofcourse I'm using software debounce

btw : is the HEF4094 in the same area when looking at the negative features of the HEF4021?
