#136873 - FPGAs work fine for processors for us
Responding to: ???'s previous message
We regularly test processors using FPGAs.

It works fine, PROVIDING that you use a limited number (ideally 1) of clocks in your design, and you have a CLEAN design.

If you exceed the number of clock resources, or rely on asynchronous logic (glitches), then you will be punished.
