#136860 - wrong place to read
Responding to: ???'s previous message
A cheap FPGA is lower in cost than the $15US per each at q10K that SiLabs has on its website for their cheapest parts.

totally wrong

If you take a peek at digikey, you will see that e.g. a C8051F221R is 2.87@100

If you take the fast and capable, thus expensive C8051F120 you will see that the $15 you present at 10k is, actually at 100. It is not my job to disclose what it is at 10k (my volume) but common knowledge should tell you it is far less.

I just took a peek at the website and at 100 the prices are 2.43 and 16.88 from SILabs

I can find places that show just about any price, but when comparing I think you should be obliged to check a bit before postulating.
