Of course, there's question about those published 805x cores, too.

Richard and others have mentioned every once in a while that the published, freebie 805x soft cores don't necessarily work all that great. Can anyone expound a little bit on what "doesn't work" means in this context? Are some instructions missing? Do some instructions just give the wrong results? Are the peripherals (timers, UARTs, etc.) messed up? All of the above? Something else entirely?
