#125570 - Hello, it's Darren again... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Try GOOGLEing on "speed-power product." You'll learn something. In the meantime, keep your preadolescent disinformation to yourself.
BTW, where do you think all that radiated energy comes from? RE Yes, quite right Richard, perhaps you have also noticed that speed increases are gained through using bipolar technology and not nmos, my question still remains, why do chip manufactures use NMOS/Cmos when it looks like a terrific increase in speed could be had if fabricated in bipolar??, where CPU/MPU fab. is concerned. I also notice, Richard, you not only use one of the most expensive powerful compilers currently available but you also use Dallas/Maxim 8051 variants which are single clock 33mip machines, I wonder why you have such desire for speed? Also, given that the r.m.s. IV power is not related frequency, in any way, I am consequently left puzzled. If you take the time to re read your University notes you may come to the conclusion, Richard, that electrical power is NOT frequency dependant, I will leave it there for now and see what others have to say about this, and Kai and others, I have not forgotten you and thank you all for participating thus far. We shall see.... Darren |
